How much higher is the cost of modified atmosphere packaging than that of vacuum packaging?
The packaging material of modified atmosphere packaging is the same to that of vacuum packaging, the cost will be increased as for the same vacuum packaging. The costs of carbon dioxide are the highest among threes gases, every high-pressure steel bottle of carbon dioxide has the pressure of 13-15Mpa, with the volume of about 40 liters and the gas weight of about 10kg when it is full of gas. It costs RMB30 to fill each steel bottle with gas. For instance, calculating all mixed gas by carbon dioxide, 1 liter of gas with pressure 0.1Mpa is consumed, its weight is about 3g and the cost is 0.009yuan<(30/10 x 1000) x 3>per liter, namely, when consuming 1 liter of gas with pressure 0.1Mpa,its cost is less than one cent RMB.
